Manic Mondays

Most people dread Mondays. Understandably, they are pretty hectic days for most working professionals. You typically start the day feeling behind, with a weekend’s worth of emails backlogged in your inbox and a voicemail light blinking in your face. For some reason, this doesn’t stress me out – it exhilarates me. I am so pumped to get into the office on Monday mornings.

Why, you ask? No, I’m not masochistic. Well, not that I am aware of, at least. I just love being busy. I love feeling important. If I wasn’t important to my company, I wouldn’t be getting these emails. If I wasn’t important to my customers/coworkers, I wouldn’t be getting these voicemails. I make a difference in my job. I am important, necessary, and relevant.

How could I not love Mondays? They validate my purpose!

Wishing all of you a very manic Monday!
