Holiday weekend = Challenge!

This post is going to be short and brief, as this is my first “real weekend” in several weeks and it happens to be three glorious days off!

I’ve been putting in a lot of overtime lately, between both school and work, and finding very little time to enjoy some of my favorite things, such as:

  • Time with my husband
  • Reading a good book
  • Bike riding
  • Rollerblading
  • Kayaking and swimming at Wekiva Springs
  • Baking [muffins in the oven now!]
  • Facetime appointments with my best friend
  • Leisure-writing!

I promised to myself that I would AVOID my blog, Facebook, and my school portal for the next 24 hours – which is going to be quite the challenge for me. However, for the sake of maintaining my balance, my sanity, and my consistently chipper good mood, I need to do this!

So, here goes. You have my word – as of 10:19:00 AM EST – that I will not post any more blogs, Facebook statuses, constantly refresh my grades page on my homework, or otherwise involve myself in the internet for the next 24 hours. If you see me online, raise the alarm!
Here’s to actually LIVING my life versus living vicariously through myself,
