While attending Full Sail, we went through a serious of interesting class assignments that challenged us to be creative in a restrictive environment. We had one such assignment where the instructor provided us with a string of dialogue and a total count of characters that we had to use in a short film of our own creation.
We could control the scenes, the action lines, and the “events” of the story, as long as didn’t remove any characters of their dialogue.
It was during this class that a close friend had died in a motorcycle accident, so I channeled that emotion into my script. Simply put, it’s about a young groom’s last ride before his wedding …and it doesn’t end well.
